Our English Citadel Series of chessmen are inspired by artistic constructions of the old world fortresses built by ancient rulers and monarchs.
Each piece has delicate handwork done by our master artisan which takes them almost 10 days to complete one set of chessmen.
The hand-carved work on all the pieces is simply extraordinary, bringing to life all the pieces on the chess board. This design is sure to please any enthusiastic chess connoisseur or makes for a fantastic gift for a chess lover.
Camel Bone which is the primary substrate used in making these chess pieces is an excellent material due to its carving properties and when finished, it gives off a beautiful luster and ranks very high on collectability.
