I ordered the “minimalist blue & Clear crystal glass chess set” (cnb1822) but received a brown and black crystal glass chess set (cnb1801). The quality is fantastic and I’m very impressed with the finishes but this is not what I ordered. I have to return this set as it doesn’t match the organizations blue theme, and arrange to have the blue and clear crystal set sent again. Very frustrating considering the cost of the chess set. I would have expected better attention to detail.
It is a beautiful statement piece for my home. I love it and it matches my decor. Very fast shipping and great packaging. Nothing was damaged. If you’re thinking about purchasing, I’d recommend!!
Great pieces! Looks beautiful with my 17” board with a similar color palette. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for a wonderful looking set. Definitely tournament grade quality and weight. The color is lighter than what is pictured as you can see.
I was really worried that the pieces are gonna be too light and/or uncomfortable to hold and I am released to say I was wrong. You can feel the weight of each piece and it is very satisfying to place them on the board, which is a work of art on its own.I also didn’t expect the board and the pieces to be that big. On of the photos you can see me holding one of the queens, it’s a very big piece. The board is quite heavy and has the same green fabric that all the pieces have. It feels very smooth and you can see and feel how well crafter it all is.The package doesn’t include any bags for the set, so if you want to keep it dust-free, make sure to get those separatelyAll in all, very satisfied with the purchase, a chess set for generations
