I am so glad that I purchased this beautiful Herman Ohme chess piece set. The workmanship is excellent and I received the product in a few days. I would highly recommend Chessnboards to anyone interested in a high-quality chess set.
I absolutely love these Romanian Hungarian Pieces. I had seen similar pieces in a YouTube video that showed old footage of titled players at a European chess tournament. I commented asking where to get them, but hadn't got a reply. So when I saw these, I had to snap them up! They are a joy to handle and to look at.
Got this for GF -- she knows already but I think she'll really enjoy opening it up and playing with it once I give it to her.
Beautiful and modern chess set—better than expected.
Interestingly, this causes a handicap for my quite color-blind son, who struggles to distinguish my pink & orange pieces from his blue & green pieces.
