The board is well made, and the colors of the pieces are easy to distinguish in low light (which is needed for our house!). I love the storage drawer underneath the playing surface.

Very nice set! All the measurements and weights were correct. Looked exactly as they did on the web site. The knight is definitely a very distinct and well crafted piece in the set. I collect lots of sets and when I saw this one I knew it was a must get for me! Also, this was the first time purchasing a set through Chess n Boards and it was pleasant experience. I had a few questions and they emailed me back during the shipping process.
Really nice chess set except I think it's invisible. I say it's invisible because it's not here. There was a delay with UPS. But I'm sure if I WAS looking at it, and it was in the same room that I'm in, I'm sure I would have nice things to say about it. Lol

Nice set, good color contrast and weighty pieces, took longer to have delivered than I'd prefer but less than two weeks so not too bad.

I am truly impressed with my set. I would’ve liked the pieces to be a little larger than the board, but nevertheless, it’s a very nice set and I truly like it.
This chess set is absolutely beautiful, I love it. My only, very very minor, note would be that I wish the board was just a bit bigger so that the pieces weren’t so tightly packed on the squares. But that doesn’t at all take away from playing on it nor does it take away from its function. The pieces are soft to touch ( no sharp edges ) and have beautiful detail given how small they are. The velvet underside is beautiful and soft. This whole set is of incredible quality, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

My mother and I decided to celebrate Christmas early this year and I was slightly confused when I ripped open the gift wrapping to see a black case I opened it up and began to open the chess pieces not knowing what they were yet as they were packaged with such care, once I saw the first piece I was beside myself. The pieces are not only beautiful but they are sturdy, heavy, and large. I immediately went searching under the tree for the board and after opening all my presents my mother and I played a game and the way the pieces slide across the board is just so satisfying. 10/10 would recommend.
