This small vinyl roll-up chess board with 1.5" squares is an affordable chess board that can be used for travel, analysis, or even the game at home. This board is made from the same material as our larger vinyl boards and has printed black squares and alpha-numeric notation. We recommend chess sets with a king base diameter of 1.25" or less. OurĀ analysis size plastic chess setĀ with a 3" king goes perfect with this board.

What is the diameter of the base of the King which is 3 3/4ā tall.

I ordered the āminimalist blue & Clear crystal glass chess setā (cnb1822) but received a brown and black crystal glass chess set (cnb1801). The quality is fantastic and Iām very impressed with the finishes but this is not what I ordered. I have to return this set as it doesnāt match the organizations blue theme, and arrange to have the blue and clear crystal set sent again. Very frustrating considering the cost of the chess set. I would have expected better attention to detail.

Great pieces! Looks beautiful with my 17ā board with a similar color palette. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for a wonderful looking set. Definitely tournament grade quality and weight. The color is lighter than what is pictured as you can see.
I was really worried that the pieces are gonna be too light and/or uncomfortable to hold and I am released to say I was wrong. You can feel the weight of each piece and it is very satisfying to place them on the board, which is a work of art on its own.I also didnāt expect the board and the pieces to be that big. On of the photos you can see me holding one of the queens, itās a very big piece. The board is quite heavy and has the same green fabric that all the pieces have. It feels very smooth and you can see and feel how well crafter it all is.The package doesnāt include any bags for the set, so if you want to keep it dust-free, make sure to get those separatelyAll in all, very satisfied with the purchase, a chess set for generations
